ABOUT
Bryan Roppolo attended Louisiana State University at Shreveport for two years before acquiring Roppolo's Insulation, LLC. in 1998 from his father, Philip Roppolo, who was operating the business part-time. Bryan knew the trade of insulation and felt that he could help the business grow. Bryan played a valuable part in making the business into what it is today. Throughout the past 19 years, Roppolo’s Insulation, LLC. has continued to grow and expand by increasing sales every year, building a positive rapport with builders, home owners, vendors and clients, all while staying competitive with prices and maintaining costs.
Roppolo's Insulation, LLC. specializes in polyurethane spray foam, blown in fiberglass and traditional fiberglass insulation. We have experience in insulation on new construction and/or existing homes and commercial application including apartment complexes, hotels, office, metal buildings and warehouses. Other areas of service and expertise include removal of insulation damaged from water, mold, fire or mildew, as well as, under houses and hard to insulate areas. We hold numerous certifications including Insulation Contractors Association of America Certified Insulator, Energy Star Certified Contractor and Spray Polyurethane Foam Certified. Roppolo’s Insulation, LLC. submits over 500 bids annually and secures over 85% of them. We are very proud to have worked with Barksdale Air Force Base, completing a project for over $500,000. We also worked with the film industry, completing a $300,000 project for “The Guardian” movie set and another project for “Year One”. However, owning and operating a business does not come without obstacles and this business is no different. In 2012, the housing market drastically declined at a time when we were insulating mostly commercial properties. The market changed and contractors stopped building apartments, offices and other commercial buildings. We had to change our strategy to keep the business profitable. We began to market to residential housing, which included new homes and pre-existing homes. This was quite the change for us because it meant we had to insulate more homes to make the same profit we had in commercial buildings. However, we made the best of it and persevered. Despite the hardships, Roppolo’s Insulation, LLC. has been voted the Top Insulation Company in Shreveport-Bossier through Locals Love Us for the past three years in a row. Along with owning a business, Bryan is very involved in the community and enjoys giving back. He is currently serving as the Field Operations Manager for the 501c(3) non-profit organization, Operation BBQ Relief, a Natural Disaster Response Team. After natural disasters the organization goes to the devastated areas and feeds first responders and victims a hot, BBQ meal. He is a past President of the Downtown Shreveport Lions Club. Currently Bryan is serving as a member of the Cass County Championship Rodeo Association, Downtown Shreveport Lions Club, River Bend Rotary Club, Insulation Contractors of America Organization, Independence Bowl Hospitality Committee and Steak Cook-Off Association. Bryan was also a recipient of the 2014 YPI 40 Under 40 awards. |
